Based in Mexico City, Mexico, I'm a student at Tecnologico de Monterrey currently studying software engineering. While my primary focus while making games is building systems, mechanics, and levels, I also love making art and music! I have built a number of games, some on my own and some with friends. I really enjoy taking on challenges outside my comfort zone, which usually derive from participating in contests such as game jams (Or music competitions!). Some of the tools I'm experienced with:
- Unity
- Unreal Engine 5
- Blender
- FL Studio 21
- Aseprite
- Adobe Photoshop
- Substance Painter
The game development industry has always fascinated me. I think of the industry as an amalgamation of extremely passionate and talented people that work very hard to create worlds and stories that inspire people and sometimes even shape their lives. I really enjoy the entirety of the game-making process, designing a game, producing it, and finally releasing it is all very exciting to me,. Watching other people share their experiences with my games brings me a ton of joy.
Ever since I was little I've had a burning passion for games, I still remember turning on my GameCube console late at night to play Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, etc. until I inevitably passed out from exhaustion. I was also always extremely competitive with friends in games like Smash Bros: Melee, Kirby: Air Ride, etc.
Exploring all these worlds has always brought me a lot of excitement, and with games today like Elden Ring, Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, Baldurs Gate 3, etc. finding the inspiration and motivation to keep designing and building games has never been easier!
