Drum on!

The idea of this game was to offer an easy and spooky way of learning how to read drum sheet music. The gameplay is very similar to a traditional rhythm game with the exception of having an accurate musical pentagram and notes with correct durations as well as representation. In order to accumulate points you have to time notes correctly as well as press their respective keyboard key. If you miss too many notes or if you press the incorrect keys, a progress bar at the top will slowly decrease until it completely empties itself triggering a game over.

Positively haunting!

The game offers progressive difficulty with multiple levels, these levels are built on top of a midi file reader which makes it extremely easy to build new levels as well as let anyone import their own songs. In order to push replayability a high score tracker was added in order to push the player to beat his own scores or share them with friends. The game is Halloween-themed, hence all the skulls and graveyards. All the gameplay, animations and art were developed by me and the web and database implementations were handled by my team.
(Groovy ghosts!)
